Using examples of best practice, drawn from over twenty five years of experience in running finance operations. Andy will aim to stimulate ideas on how you can monitor, motivate and manage the finance function to ensure that it adds value to your organisation. The Speaker Having qualified with Coopers and Lybrand in 1984, he worked in both New York and London in corporate finance. With over ten years in the retail industry, at both the Burton Group and Sears, he specialised in helping smaller businesses undertake corporate finance transactions and to become listed on the AIM and main market. As part of this process he has worked with a number of finance functions to improve management reporting and seek to integrate their role within the wider organisation. As regional director for Secantor, an organisation providing high quality Finance Directors to businesses on an interim or part time basis, he has been able to work with a wide variety of organisations, from differing industries. |
