The Global Controller Operations Team is a key part of Oracle’s World Class Finance Organisation in EMEA. This progressive and innovative team comprises a dynamic group of approximately 90 financial professionals responsible for Oracle’s revenue accounting, internal management reporting, business analysis, external statutory reporting, US & local compliance, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
FINANCIAL ANALYST – REVENUE :
This highly commercial role is crucial to both the EMEA and worldwide businesses for Oracle. With involvement in deal structuring, the role requires the ability to communicate with and influence senior executives of all the key departments throughout the company, including sales, regional and corporate finance, legal, marketing, development and internal audit. | |

| RESPONSIBILITIES: -Provide support and advice to all Lines of Business (LOB’s) during deal negotiation stage to ensure deals are structured in accordance with Oracle’s revenue recognition policy whilst maximising the revenue to the Business -Maintenance of relationships with regional Businesses to ensure all relevant deal related queries are addressed -Maintain an up to date and thorough knowledge of the technical Revenue Recognition Policy and guidelines within Oracle -Review of closed deals to ensure revenue is recognised in line with corporate guidelines -Ensure all deal reviews and reporting is performed in line with Sarbanes Oxley requirements -Delivery of training on Revenue Recognition and Business Practices to EMEA Oracle staff dealing with Revenue in all LOB’s QUALIFICATIONS: -Newly qualified accountant / Nearing Qualification or equivalent Business qualification (ie MBA) -Relevant revenue, finance or accounting experience is essential.
