| The duties of this role are predominantly broken down into two areas; payroll and bookkeeping 1)Payroll •Service Payroll needs of 25 existing payroll clients; using Micropay professional •Identify further requirements that they may have and provide feedback to team where relevant. 2)Bookkeeping •Develop relationship and service bookkeeping needs of existing client base •Experience is necessary in the following: Sage Line 50, Tas Book and Big Red Book is an advantage. •Actively seek to increase the size of this portfolio through leads given and sought, through presentation and client relations development. ( see detail attached) 3)Other •Active involvement in development and delivery of Business Services plan •Manage own Work in Progress •Identify internal training needs and address through liaison with Carmen Tracey •Involvement in team wide cross training to ensure full understanding of all services provided by Department. •Maintaining Debtor’s ledger : posting of all debtor cash receipts, production of monthly debtor reports and dealing with all debtor queries. •Dealing with bank: making weekly lodgements, preparation of daily and month end bank reconciliations. •Maintaining creditor’s ledger: posting of purchase invoices, creditor cheques and direct debits, preparation of monthly creditor reconciliations, dealing with creditor queries. •Management accounts: Assisting with the production of monthly accounts to trial balance stage incl. bank reconciliations, debtor and creditor reconciliations, VAT and PAYE reconciliations, accruals and prepayments, depreciation journals, review of nominal ledger postings. | |
