| Purpose of Role: Quality Assurance is accountable for the execution, directing and overall implementation of the day to day responsibilities related to the quality assurance testing program. Specific Duties: Report directly to the local Operational Control Management Director and coordinate program with Senior management of business units Build / Execute OCM Testing Program: Plan, lead and execute OCM reviews in accordance with department standards. OCM reviews consist of a program to perform quality assurance testing across various business units to help evaluate the effectiveness of management’s execution of defined key controls. Perform reviews within time budgets and target dates, reporting any timing problems or budget over-runs to Director or VP of OCM Support / lead development of QA program to ensure quality of work completed. Prepare OCM test review reports and practical and value-added recommendations. Reports are to be presented in a factual, concise and well-organized manner and issued within departmental service standards. Present / support presentation of observations and recommendations to business unit management; resolve contentious issues and reach agreement on appropriate solutions to risk management and operational efficiency issues. Manage follow-up on open review issues until resolved Support OCM program: As appropriate support other initiative within wider OCM program | |

| Specific Qualifications/ Skills Working knowledge of operations and company policies Ability to work in a collaborative environment whereby you are able to leverage resources of other groups Effective project management skills Ability to quickly understand business processes and their risk implications, analyze complex situations, reach appropriate conclusions, and make value-added and practical recommendations Understanding of risk management and audit methodologies Ability to effectively communicate ideas and recommendations orally and in writing, and to listen and consider ideas of others Ability to develop and carry out plans to deliver quality results on time and within budget Manage goals in situations without formal structure and adapt to change Results oriented; ability to balance multiple priorities and projects Proven relationship skills including a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with staff at all levels Experience in internal/external audit or equivalent business experience. Flexible and creative thinker Level of Education: University graduate. Skills - interpersonal, numerical, problem-solving, analytical, etc Strong organizational, interpersonal and management skills.
