| JPMorgan Hedge Fund Services delivers an extensive solution for Hedge Fund and Funds of Hedge Funds clients seeking independent administration and custody services or to outsource their day-to-day operations. The Fund Accounting team has the responsibility for providing a premium quality client service to Hedge Fund Service Clients, ensuring deadlines are met at all times. Reporting to the Senior Fund Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for the following: Completion of NAV calculations for a portfolio of complex hedge funds to review stage; Resolving any issues with clients; Ensure appropriate processes and controls in place and followed; Liase with Fund Accounting Analyst re issues, progress, obstacles etc. Develop and maintain client relationships for portfolio of clients; Maintaining relationships with banks, brokers and auditors; Training, coaching and managing junior fund accounting staff; Review work of fund accounting team; Assist the Financial Reporting Department in completion of year end audits; Ensuring compliance with fund specific and company procedures and controls; Reviewing and recommending improvements to policies and procedures; Providing input on staffing and training; Ability to take ownership of issues and escalate where relevant; Participation in ad-hoc projects as required. | |

| Profile: The function requires the individual to display the following characteristics Leadership and motivation; Professional and proactive approach to work; Analytical ability with tenacious approach to ensure identified issues are following through to resolution; Strong organizational skills, concern for quality and accuracy and working to strict deadlines; Demonstrated ability to supervise a small to mid size team; Strong communication, organization and leadership skills; Able to provide coaching and guidance on all aspects of fund accounting processes; Ability to identify improvements; Self motivated, confident and committed Requirements: Background in hedge fund administration and demonstrated ability to manage a small team; In depth knowledge of fund accounting processes including equalisation, complex financial instruments and multi-class funds; Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office, Bloomberg, and working knowledge of fund accounting systems.
