| As a Shareholder Services Senior Associate for JPMorgan Hedge Fund Services you will have a portfolio of clients for which you are responsible for all aspects of servicing their shareholders and will be a key client contact. You will report to an Officer and work alongside a team of Account Managers (multiple grades). Core Proficiencies & Competencies: Delivery of Superior Quality Service to client base; Ø Complete assigned tasks accurately and within appropriate timeframes. Ø Identify and action priority items within appropriate timeframes. Ø Ability to organise daily tasks effectively and efficiently. Ø Liaise and communicate effectively and efficiently with all company divisions. Ø Work to, and within the realm, of JPMT’s established work practices and procedures. Ø Maintain a thoroughly professional manner at all times Ø Build relationships with the Investment Managers, Shareholders, Prime brokers and other third parties. Recognise and Assume Responsibility for daily tasks; Ø Take responsibility for assigned tasks, prioritise and complete effectively and efficiently. Ø Take responsibility for ensuring daily tasks, items and issues are completed within appropriate timeframes, either personally or by the group. Ø Follow all daily and ad-hoc tasks through to successful completion. Ø Complete daily tasks and manage workloads with minimal support and direction Ø Project Management – responsibility for and active involvement in projects within your team and the Shareholder Services platform. Improved Service Offering; Ø Display comprehensive knowledge of the established practices, processes and procedures within the Shareholder Services Group. Ø Display comprehensive knowledge of all Shareholder Services systems. Ø Display comprehensive knowledge of all client and client products serviced by your team. Ø Display comprehensive knowledge of Hedge Funds. Ø Escalate and communicate issues, as necessary, up and down the line. Ø Proactively contribute at team meetings Ø Display initiative and enterprise by identifying issues and deficiencies within the work practices of the Shareholder Services platform - formulate proposals to streamline and implement as required. Excellence in Team Focus; Ø Positively influence team morale. Ø Represent team effectively and professionally with all divisions of JPMT and external parties. Ø Communicate effectively, proactively and professionally with peers, management and all divisions of JPMT. Ø Display an excellent awareness of the importance of communication. Ø Assist other members with the completion of assigned tasks and additional responsibilities, as required. Ø Assist in training of new team members and provide ongoing support. | Job Specific Responsibilities: Shareholder Services Shareholder Services Senior Associates are expected to be proficient in the following: Display accurate trade processing and reporting proficiencies in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Shareholder Services Group. Display accurate trade review proficiencies in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Shareholder Services Group. Display accurate money movement, reconciliation and reporting proficiencies in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Shareholder Services Group. Carry out Anti-Money laundering (AML) checks whilst displaying a comprehensive knowledge of the established practices, processes and procedures of JPMT. Support of client phone lines and e-mail communication Display an ability to answer complex client and investor queries in a timely, accurate and professional manner Investigate complex client and investor queries and follow up with timely, and accurate resolutions. Display accurate client reporting proficiencies in accordance with the established work practices and procedures of the Shareholder Services Group. Facilitation and completion of regular and ad-hoc client, investor and regulatory reporting requirements in a timely, accurate and professional manner. Profile: The function requires the individual to display the following characteristics Ø Strong communication skills both oral and written Ø Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation Ø Professional and proactive approach to work Ø Strong organisational skills with a concern for quality & accuracy Ø Team player Ø Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office Applications.
