PROFESSIONALISM AND ETHICS EVENT, GRADUATION CEREMONY AND APPROVED EMPLOYER CONFERENCE

The ACCA Ukraine professionalism and ethics conference, Driving Global Standards Through Professionalism and Ethics , was held at the Radisson SAS Hotel in Kiev, Ukraine, in September 2007. Over 45 delegates attended, including ACCA members and recent graduates, HR professionals, and partners from Big 4 firms. The event was sponsored by Baker Tilly Ukraine, and ATC Ukraine.
Delegates were welcomed by Nataliya Vovchuk, ACCA Head of Ukraine, Baltic and Caucasus States, before listening to presentations on p rofessionalism, ethics education, codes of conduct, and what makes a good accountant. Speakers at the event were Dr Moyra Kedslie, ACCA Council Member; Quentin O'Toole, audit partner in charge, ZAT Deloitte & Touche USC; Tom Craddock-Watson, partner and head of AABS at Ernst & Young Ukraine; and Alexander Pochkun, managing partner of Baker Tilly.
The presentations were followed by a graduation ceremony, and the presentation of an Approved Employer Certificate to Metinvest Holdings, part of the SCM group.
