Supporting your trainees
SUPPORT FOR EMPLOYERS AND WORKPLACE MENTORS
ACCA's practical experience requirement (PER) is a vital part of the ACCA Qualification. It provides a framework for achievement, confirming effective and sustainable workplace performance and creating more valuable employees. Employers of ACCA trainees, play an important role in ensuring trainees gain appropriate work experience and in supporting the relationship between trainees and their workplace mentors.
The role of the workplace mentor - who oversees trainees' achievement of ACCA performance objectives - is central to a trainee completing their experience and gaining the ACCA Qualification.
ACCA is committed to supporting workplace mentors and employers that train our accountancy professionals. This is why we have developed a range of case studies and support sheets to help workplace mentors in their role. Workplace mentors can access more information at myACCA, accessed through the ACCA website.
