AOCT
When members in the Republic of Ireland have satisfied the practical training requirements for an ACCA practising certificate and audit qualification, they can apply to undertake an Orientation Course & Test.
The objective of the Audit Orientation Course & Test is to confirm a member's ability to practise as a Chartered Certified Accountant in the Republic of Ireland and/or the UK. It also provides an assessment and enhancement of their skills and aptitudes before a Practising Certificate is awarded. In particular, members are required to demonstrate that they are able to apply the technical and practical knowledge gained in their professional work to practical problems.
Members applying for an ACCA practising certificate and audit qualification must pass an Audit Orientation Course and Test.
