ATCOR continues its support for ACCA
29 Jul 2005
For a number of years now, ATCOR has shown its commitment to support accredited employer-linked students on the ACCA programmes. ATCOR is currently involved with South African Revenue Service (SARS), Office of the Auditor General (OAG), Anglo Platinum and the Courier Freight Group (CFG).
For a new group of students from mainly SARS, life could not have been any better than the tuition support they now receive from excellent lecturers at ATCOR. One of the students drove all the way from Rustenburg to get to ATCOR's lectures to ensure that he prepares well for his upcoming examinations. He did not regret this long drive, as he found the tuition valuable and integral to his success in the examinations.
The students and tuition staff at ATCOR were treated to a light lunch by ACCA South Africa. The opportunity was used to cement the relationship between ATCOR and ACCA, and between the students.
Vashna Rawjee, from ATCOR, expressed her appreciation for the partnership with ACCA and SARS, in working towards improving the skills shortage of accounting and finance professionals in the public sector. Vashna emphasised that success can only be achieved when all stakeholders work together and show the same level of commitment.
ACCA South Africa is proud to be associated with ATCOR and SARS.
